To gain entries into the contest, just do any of the following:
– Make a comment of value (not just “i agree”, etc.) on a post = 1 entry (remember to comment on all blogs)
– Subscribe to RSS via email = 2 entries (per blog you subscribe to!)
– Write a post about the contest on your blog (must include a link to this page and the links below to participating blogs) = 25 entries
Please note: If you are already subscribed to any of the sites below, you are already earning entries. Also, to get credit for posting about the contest, your post’s link must show up in the comments below or in the comments on one of the other blogs below.
How much easier can we make it? So you can sneak in with just one entry by simply posting a comment here, you can increase your odds by reading and commenting on a few more posts here and at one of the blogs below and maybe subscribe to a couple, or you can really up the odds and subscribe to all all of our blogs (which you’ll enjoy reading anyway), comment on a bunch of posts, and blog about this contest. The more entries you earn, the better your odds, of course. If you’re going to post about this contest, just grab the image and code from here.

A contest! I love contests. I’m sad to see that there aren’t very many comments yet, you know most online contests go by with only a few entries.
A lot of John Chow and Shoemoney contests only have around 12 entries when they both have well over 15,000 daily readers! Imagine that! Well I for one will certainly not miss such a spectacular contest! I’ve just written a post about the contest and hope you enjoy it =)

I can’t figure out how so many people are making money on the Internet. I’ve read many blogs. I am not able to find a definitive list of the steps to take to make money. I’ve tried several things and have managed to get myself banned from Adsense. I need some help.

John: There’s no formula to making money quickly online. It takes a lot of work and patience. With PPC affiliate marketing, it can take some spending to perfect your methods, too. If you’ve gotten banned from Adsense, chances are that you’ve done something grey-hat or black-hat that Google disliked. For the most part, produce content that will get people to your site from Google, link backs, etc. Try putting your ad blocks in different places. Most of all, think outside the Google box. There’s Yahoo Publisher Network, Direct Leads, Pepperjam Network, xy7, and about 200 other affiliate networks you can join and earn with. Also, search for Affiliate Summit and read some of the posts. A lot of people learned a lot there and are sharing what they learned.

This is an interesting spin on a blog contest. It’s like winning the lottery without the annoying cashier. They provide you with the subject to write about and you get chances to win cash. Realistically, it looks like may be he got eight people to chip in $20 and then is giving away $100 of it. That’s a $60 profit. Then again, maybe I’m thinking too “small”. Who knows what he is charging. Any way, not a bad business/marketing plan.
