Just curious- how many additional RSS subscribers did you receive from this spike? I just signed up for your RSS feed, but did not see the stat at the top of the page go up (I use bloglines btw)

Carol: Thanks! Working hard on our blogs is the very first step. I often struggle to average almost a post a day, but I put a lot into it because I want each post to be original and have substance. It’s ironic that the post getting all the attention is one of the few guest posts. Don’t be afraid to accept guest posts.

MarixD: I had a couple servers, but that was just while transitioning from the old one to the new one. Currently, the one server is more than I need most of the time. I was able to knock out a couple of my greedier WordPress plugins and now everything is running a lot better.
