I missed another week last week, but I have plenty of bookmarks to post, so here they are. As always, I’m starting with the Twitter suggestions. Don’t forget, if you want a link to your Twitter account, just follow me on Twitter and tweet the following:

@joetech I want that free link in your Bookmark Friday post : http://www.joetech.com/suggests/bmftw

I only have one for this week:

And on to the bookmarks!

The Rosetta Project – This is a great project, offering a ton of information, presented in hundreds of languages all on on disc.

Data.gov – If you had any doubts that we live in a data sharing era, just click. Ton’s of data from our government at your fingertips.

Chain Rxn – This is an addicting little flash game for Facebook.

Top 20 Video Memes – This is a pretty good list of viral videos and good for a laugh if you need it.

Google Wave preview – If you’re a developer, take an hour plus and watch this. Wave does some pretty cool things.

Spymaster This is another addicting game, but for Twitter users this time.

Controllerless Xbox Experience? – Watch the video and drool a little, but remember that MS promises pretty things all the time.

Texts from last night – Some really funny text messages, but it’s not censored, so you’ve been warned.

Chinese Windows XP Phone – I’d love to check one of these out.

Giant curved monitor – I love my 24″ monitor at the office, but I would much rather have this. Someone buy it for my birthday next week, please.

This week is just as busy as last week, but I I still have bookmarks to post, so here they are. As always, I’m starting with the Twitter suggestions. Don’t forget, if you want a link to your Twitter account, just follow me on Twitter and tweet the following:

@joetech I want that free link in your Bookmark Friday post : http://www.joetech.com/suggests/bmftw

This week, I just have a couple again:

jtarter (Pensacola, FL)
Bio: Founder & CEO of J-Vision Designs. Call me if you have questions or to find out how I can help you and/or your business today.
Site: http://www.jvisiondesigns.com/

Babasfarmlife (Wiley, Colorado)

Site: http://babasfarmlife.blogspot.com/

And on to the bookmarks…

Official PSDs – Working on a client site, I was looking for a Facebook logo to add and came across this web site. They have tons of free layered PSDs for your projects.

Crazy Egg – If you have a blog or web site and want to know how your menu, ad, etc. placement is working for you, try out a service like this one. It tracks the actual mouse movements on your site so you get an idea of where people are looking.

Google Search with options – Search smarter with Google’s search options.

iPhone DSLR remote – This is a great idea for an app and I can’t wait to try it out with my Canon Rebel XTi.

Multimodal Brain Orchestra – Watch some guys make music with their minds.

Ninja New York – This looks like my kind of restaurant.

100 Geeks you should be following – Sadly, I did not make the cut.

Anti-Gravity sculptures – Some great anti-gravity sculptures and installations.

Blacksocks.com – Subscribe to automatically replenish your black sock supply regularly.

iPod Touch powered robot – I love to see stuff like this where someone does something different and cool with technology. And it’s a robot… my weakness.

Light as performance art – Great photos of visual brilliance.

Post-production light painting – Great tutorial on how to do “light painting” in your photos for a cool effect.

Logo My Way – This is a great way to get a good logo. Offer up a bounty for the winning entry (say $200) and get a couple hundred or so entries to sift through for your new logo.

Waze real-time driving updates – It’s a mobile app that gives real-time user-submitted updates about accidents, construction, incidents, etc.

Last week was busy… It was so busy, in fact, that I didn’t get around to the Bookmark Friday. I know many of you look forward to it and I’m sorry I missed it. This week is just as busy, but I told myself I wouldn’t end the day without posting my bookmarks, so here we go. As always, I’m starting with the Twitter suggestions. Don’t forget, if you want a link to your Twitter account, just follow me on Twitter and tweet the following:

@joetech I want that free link in your Bookmark Friday post : http://www.joetech.com/suggests/bmftw

This week, I just have a couple:

Babasfarmlife (Wiley, Colorado)

And on to the bookmarks…

2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid – They gave me one for a week for review consideration and I loved it. I’m seriously pricing it with options this weekend. Review should be up soon, too.

Rap Chop video – Have you ever seen the Slap Chop infomercial? This DJ remixed it with music and it rocks. 1.8 million people agree with me.

Url Shortener – I’m building a better URL shortening service. It’s in private alpha right now, but if you want to play, your alpha key is “thisissparta”. GO!

Boonex – I thought this was kind of neat. You can create your own social network with it.

Download Windows 7 – Want to download and try Windows 7 for free? Here you go!

Inspiring on Flickr – If you like taking photos like I do, you’ll enjoy seeing the 5 most inspiring people on Flickr.

From zero to Forbes in a week – Maybe not Forbes, but this is a great example of quick thinking and good marketing to capitalize on a media frenzy.

Create cool buttons in Photoshop – Guess what this might be.

Inflatable sofas – I’ve gotta get one of these for camping.

Interview on MurrayNewlands.com – I was interviewed last week my Murray Newlands for his blog and he posted it Wednesday.

Spread your content – Great tips for getting your content out there.

It’s been a long weekend. I had too many posts ready for Friday, so I moved Bookmark Friday to Bookmark Sunday. Sorry for the delay this week. Lots of bookmarks this week, especially for Martin, who was asking about them when I went out last night.

Despite being late, we’re going to start off with some Twitter users you should follow. Remember, all anyone had to do was follow me on Twitter and tweet the following:

@joetech I want that free link in your Bookmark Friday post : http://www.joetech.com/suggests/bmftw

Just one this week:

webduck (Carol Wilkerson)
Bio: Family genealogist, certified handwriting analyst; highly opinionated!
Site: http://ipentimento.com/

Thanks to everyone who retweets my requests for Bookmark Fridays and sends me bookmark suggestions, too. Now on with the bookmarks for the week:

Credit card processing with the iPhone – This is one of those “why didn’t I develop that?” apps. It’s a simple idea that enables anyone with an iPhone to process credit cards anywhere.

Hummer H3 Hybrid = 100+MPG – It’s a little hard to swallow, right? Apparently, this hybrid H3 will make you think twice about Hummers being eco-horrible. They’re still too big for my taste, though.

Which Date Works? – This is another simple idea with elegant execution. Get everyone to hit the site, choose their available dates (for, say, a dinner party), and the site mashes it all together and spits out the best date for everyone.

Every arrest gets tweeted – Apparently, in Denton, Texas, the police post every arrest and mug shot on their twitter.

TileStack – This is a platform where non-developers can create applications by stacking various components together instead of writing code. I’m actually working on something along the same thought process, just not as pretty or proprietary.

Nine Inch Nails iPhone app – Trent shows his geeky side again with a NIN iPhone app. It’s pretty cool, too. My screenshots are all here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/nodomain1/sets/72157616853639142/

Making of Doom – This is a pretty cool video inside ID Software while they’re getting Doom ready for release long, long ago, in… this galaxy.

Space Invaders coasters – Nice! I’m working on an idea similar to (but better than) this, too.

Catapult business card – This is one of the best business cards I’ve seen for an engineer. No need for a resume. Just hand your future employer this card and tell them how much to pay you.

Tonematrix – This guy’s doing some really cool things with the Processing, which I’ve mentioned before.

Zippo laser projector – You know how I love lasers. This guy crammed a lase projector into an emptied out Zippo.

LCD gift wrap – Write your own message on this LCD wrapping paper.

3D printing at home – We’re getting closer and closer to decent yet affordable home fabricating. In 5 years, I’ll bet you can buy a good 3D printer for under $300. With more and more people launching their own products with Ponoko end Etsy, it’ll be a welcomed offering.

Steam punk light switch plates – You could look faster than I could describe… Click.
