It's always a refurb, and they have plenty of 6700s left, so I got that. The upside is I already know I like this phone, so I don't have to worry about acclimating to the new one or it having changed things in a bad way. I'll probably still get a new phone in May. I'm curious because Verizon often gives the newer 'equivalent' phone if they have discontinued the previous model. I have an exchange server and it synchronizes with it flawlessly. The only thing it doesn't do is allow you to open Word and Excel docs and edit them.
