I do this with Costco a lot. I find the Costco has amazingly great deals - better than many other places on line - for some pretty specific things - like Quickbooks. As an example. One weekend there was a packaged deal on a plasma tv I was thinking of buying along with a dvd player/surround system. It's limited as it only had a single optical audio input but would suffice for now. I didn't buy it then but a month later they advertised the TV alone at a slightly higher price than the previous packaged deal. If I had ordered online for in store pick-up rather than wandering into the store, I'd have missed the fact they still had the packaged deal sign sitting there with the set on the floor (not online however).
