I doubt it will. Ebay has an affiliate program, but I didn’t see any way to put my affiliate information into the widget, so AuctionAds.com still makes you money while ebay doesn’t. Also, AuctionAds is designed for affiliate use (sizing, etc) while the ebay widget is designed to make it easy for anyone to mention their ebay auction in myspace, a blog, etc.

Great article! I didn’t know about these changes. If I understand right, the first one is a gadget that can be placed on a website or blog? I wonder if it will replace Auction Ads in popularity.
