Calling Geek and Techie Writers

Posted in Uncategorized by Joe Tech on the February 6th, 2008

From time to time, I will be too busy to post or out of town (or country), so I’m looking for guest writers with talent. What’s in it for you? Exposure. JoeTech.com gets a lot of daily traffic, has 101 RSS subscribers (and rising), and continues to drop on Alexa (this is good). This month, JoeTech.com is hovering around the 20,000 mark. Also, at the end of each month, if I have enough guest posts, I’ll give something nice (like a gift card or cash) to one of my guest bloggers. Who else offers that? If you’re a talented wordsmith, and want some free exposure for your blog, register and submit an article or two. I can’t guarantee that your article will be posted, but I will try to be responsive in a timely manner. Here’s what I’m looking for in an article:

- Should be (at least somewhat) tech related, but I’ll consider those that are not as well
- Should be PG-13
- Should be fresh ideas
- Should NOT be something already posted elsewhere, and you promise to NOT post it elsewhere after submitting to me.
- Technical level can be novice to UberGeek

I'm in too...I hope my post will be accepted by your reader...it may be, a little bit technical but it will be easy to follow...

Javo: Can't wait to see it.

woobie: I don't mind at all. Your blog gave me a thought about another way to reward guest posts. I might post more on that after I work it out in my head.

i'll help spread the word... if you don't mind.

Sounds Interesting Joe!

I'm in Joe :), let's see what do you think about my post. See you around

Angela: Thanks for stopping by. I was glad to find your post to be able to use it as a resource here.

woobie: Thanks. A handful of new users have signed up, so I'm anxious to see some of these guest posts.

Dee: There's no application form. Just put your desired username and email address in the registration form and then write a good post. =)

I'm glad to see so much interest and I hope this means we'll have better post frequency soon.

Syed: This is open to anyone who wants to submit an article. If I don't think I'll use an article, I'll let the author know so that he or she can put it on their own site and it won't go to waste.

I would love to do something like this, but I'm too lazy to fill out the application form, and I don't know if I'll have enough time to do it anyway :(
