honestly, is there a big market for this? i own an iPod Touch and one of the shuffles before this (second gen?) and they are fine! The price for the new talking shuffle is quite a lot for the amount of storage you get, and although the idea is great and it seems like a step forward, will many people actually be buying them?

Would you have to train it to your voice? Or does it just talk to you. i think the Shuffle didn’t work cause you couldn’t see what you were playing. Why would one that talks make it any better then you have to listen instead of scroll? Is a display too expensive to put on a small device? Why did they ignore the fact that people wanted to SEE what was there, not that they could hear what was there.

Apple continues to quietly roll out these new releases, I wonder what happened to all the hoopla that used to accompany Apple’s new/upgraded products? Could it be that they’re holding back for a big new release? A MacBook touch perhaps? :-)
