The phone is awesome. I just wish Apple would pick their partners better. In Holland they teamed up with T-Mobile that has bad network when your getting to small towns and villages away from the big cities. Lets hope it comes to other providers in the future that have a decent network :D.

I wanted the new iPhone 3G as well but paying $80 a month for phone service isn’t something I can do right now besides, I rather put that in a Roth.

That sounds pretty cool. I saw something about that on Apple’s site, too. The games look pretty fun, but I just want a good phone with a swank UI that will sync with my outlook and calendar.

Everyone who says Verizon and iPhone don’t pair up:

Boy do I feel silly. Sometimes I forget that there are different cellular standards out there. So I either stick with what I have or buy a 3G next week or maybe I’ll just upgrade to a new phone with VZW.

i’ve just heard that apple iphone is planning to incorporate games like those from xbox or psp to the phones and each game download would cost you around $25.

The Iphones are pretty much useless for what you pay for them, they don’t have Java with them, not that open,with no real keyboard. at the end they are just Ipod’s with a different name.

With that you can get your self a Centro (palm) that does far more than just play music and look nice.

Like real internet *watch movies online,Download,torrent, play DVIX and more then 30 formats.Real QWERTY keyboard.tons of Open source and freeware apps for your palm.

Just think about it, Cheaper and Better.

I will not be getting an iPhone. I’m waiting for the Android system, The Dream phone will be released on the T-Mobile network, which is what I have. I will not have to hack an iPhone. I will have a phone that is already open with tons of programs and a free SDK to create more OSS programs.

1) you can’t use any iphone with Verizon. They use old CDMA technology whereas AT&T and the rest of the world uses GSM. Verizon is literally the one carrier you can’t use.
2) old iPhones are not going to be cheap on ebay. As of yet, the new 3G is unlockable, so there will still be strong demand for used iPhone version 1. See for yourself. Look up “unlocked iPhone” on ebay and you’ll see they fetch $450-550 (dependind on memory capacity).

is there any rumors that new 3G iphone is unlocked? seems lock iphone is senseless, people can unlock it as they wish with FREE apps
