		<description>I think that your advice about batteries is incorrect. The use it or lose it principle applied to old batteries, but not to current lithium ion batteries. Lithium ion batteries have a certain number of charge-recharge cycles and once those are used up, the battery is dead. Every time you discharge and recharge you battery it is one step closer to death.

To maximize the lifespan of a battery, don't leave it in your laptop while it is just sitting on your desk. Storing a battery at 100% charge in a hot place (like the inside of a laptop) will decrease it's lifespan. Leave your laptop battery at about 60% charge out of extreme temperatures (ie take it out of you laptop) if your laptop is just sitting at your desk.
