I wanna get Crenk-ed

Crenk, founded on September 22, 2007, is a weblog dedicated to obsessively profiling and reviewing Internet products and companies. In addition Crenk interviews some of the leaders in the web space and offers insights into strategies of web 2.0 companies.
Last month, Steven Finch asked me to review Crenk.com as part of my new offer to review sites and products for free. Mentioned in Reuters and Nielsen, among other places, Crenk offers articles covering breaking tech news, insights, site reviews and interviews. While some of the articles at Crenk are lighter reading with humorous titles such as The Fun Finder That Wont Even Get Britney Spears in Trouble, you’ll also find more serious articles like the recent one about how Insound acquired Napster and increased the subscription price.
The site also offers The Crenk-ed List, a list of other sites that are Crenk approved for reading. You should nominate JoeTech.com for a spot on that list. A lot of recent posts seem to be geared towards music news, which is great, but not my normal read. Still, I will continue to dig through the archives and see what I come up with.
Bernard Griffiths: A clean design and good read
Let’s just start by quoting: “My name is Bernard Griffiths, and I am an 18 year old affiliate marketer.” What?! When I look at Bernard’s site, I see a really professional design and a clean layout. I’d say Bernard is a step ahead of a lot of bloggers already by just having an aesthetically pleasing site.

Bernard offers blog articles, interviews, and videos about affiliate marketing. I think what I enjoy most is the variety of interviews with everyone from Shawn Collins (who should really approve my Affiliate Summit press pass request - hint, hint) to John Cow. So many bloggers are looking out for the affiliate dollar and often miss the mark on what people want to read. Bernard has filled a micro-niche here that many affiliate marketers have missed.
Some things could use work, like the fact that the Archives list expands slightly on top of his Top Spots widget, but that certainly isn’t going to prevent me from adding his RSS feed to my Google Reader. Well, actually, it almost did. The RSS button didn’t work for me, but I tried the other links until something stuck.
