Domains for sale

Monday, January 22nd, 2007

In the interest of paying bills, I’ve dropped the prices on a bunch of my domains down to $100. Like eBay, a first bid often gets the ball rolling, which is why I did the last sale.

If you know anyone who would be interested in any of these, send them the links:

2008 Acura Advanced Sports Car Concept

Worldcarfans gives us a first look at the 2008 Acura Advanced Sports Car Concept aka NSX successor, which comes equipped with a front-mounted, V-10 engine and a rear-wheel-drive based version of Acura’s ‘Super Handling All-Wheel Drive’ (SH-AWD). Video after the jump.

Although modern in its appearance, the Advanced Sports Car Concept retains the subtle cues associated with its predecessor, the NSX. The concept’s slim, LED headlights are pushed wide and designed to mimic the pop-up headlights found on the first generation NSX. Other styling hints include a modern take on wraparound rear taillights and the all black cockpit

The WII Laptop

The WII Laptop

It’s the Wii laptop! We spent the last few weeks (including much time spent over the holidays evading relatives) slaving over this bad boy and finally it’s complete. Check out the features:

* 16:9 widescreen LCD, 7-inch diagonal.
* Stereo sound
* Gamecube controller port
* Built-in short range Sensor Bar
* Ports for using original Sensor Bar and A/V output jacks (for use on external display)
* Built-in power supply and compartment for power cord
* Dimensions: 8.5 x 7.7 x 2-inches

Starting next Tuesday we’ll be doing a multi-part How-To with detailed instructions for building your own Wii laptop, as well as loads of photos of the construction process. But for now check out the gallery for more detailed photos of the unit, and click on to see some video of the Wii laptop in action.

More images and a video are on on Engadget.

Google Switch: Phone by Google and Samsung?

Google Switch phone

What’s this? Are Samsung and Google ganging up on Apple, putting together a screenier touchscreen phone to rival the iPhone? All we have so far is cryptic information, such as the words “Google Switch” accompanying this image that landed in our tip box this morning.

Sure, Google talked Samsung into allowing its software to be installed on its Ultra Edition 13.8 slider late last month, but that phone, while super-slim, doesn’t look anywhere near as cool as this. Even though this image we received is insouciantly blurred to resemble a clandestine photo, it’s easy to fake that in Photoshop. Anybody know what this is? Help us out here. – Charlie White

Thanks, Chad!
